Hasankeyf Kale gate 1818

This gate is from the Eyubbian period, say 13th century. It was believed to be charmed because it has a snake and a scorpion on its wall, hewn in stone.

It's location can be seen on picture nr. 8321: it is at the start of a steep road that later leads to another gate, and then further up.
