I found there are two kinds of frogs, the ones that jump out of the picture the moment you start aiming a camera, and the ones that remain frozen. The latter kind can be easily approached within less than a yard. If your depth of field holds out, that makes for some fine picture taking.

I don't know about frogs, so these come without further explanation.
