Its hard to describe where this is. Its at some edge of town, rather high up a hill, where some old houses are about to be restored (or have just been waiting for that moment for years, but their time will come). Around it live some people who might be called poor, but don't act that way, and were very pleased that I visited their neighbourhood.

The dog, though small, was supposedly a Sivas dog (I think they're called "Kangal Köpek" as a more specific name), a fine breed that is considered amongst the bravest and fiercest in the country.
