There are some scenes in the narthex part of the church, a viewer commented this is an image of the Ascension. Christ is ascending into the heaven in glory (upper part (sorry for cutting off the head, but I had to make a choice)) below are apostoles and Mary, Mother of God in the center.

Another viewer informed me that the text to the left reads "Men from Galilea, why are you staring at the heavens?"
