Black Sea bread seems to be very special, and the Turks know this. So the bus that is to travel for 24 hours or so to Izmir will halt at a good bakery, and all crew (and many passengers) will buy bread. Similar scenes can be seen when a minibus passes a special well, where the water is very good. I have seen cues of tens of people waiting at a particular well near Bursa last year, and had busses stop during nerve-racking rides along the coast off Inebolu to drink special water.
