Many pictures are hard to tell apart from pictures with snowscapes. Note the "marks" indicating how water came over the top of the rock to the right, and how the minerals settled in ripples.
Well, that's good news, I did not know this. As I wrote to you in a mail, I travel increasingly to the east, but who knows? I might try once again.

Dear Mr. Dosseman
I hope you get to go back to Pamukkale. My first time there was 1995. I went back there 10 years later in 2005. I was so happy to find that the hotels that were built on the travertens in Pamukkale were long gone, the travertens turned all white, people not allowed to walk on it with shoes on. The project to clean Pamukkale has been going on for last one or two years, already improved significantly. I recommend that you go back in 2007 or later as that's I believe when the project will be completed and so all the pools will be filled. (In 2005, not all the pools were filled due to the ongoing project). I hope you get to go back and take some beautiful shots at the sunset.
