This is the Gazahane Mosque. The mosque, which Haji Sinanoglu Haji Kemal had made built, is located on Yenimahalle Gazazhane Street. It is one of the first mosques that were built after the conquest of Istanbul (1453). Since it is in Old Kazazs(Silk Merchants) Market, it became known as the “Gazazhane Mosque”. Haji Kemal also had a caravansary in the city; however, this caravansary has not been preserved.
