There is not very much beach, and as so often there is run-off from nearby roads and maybe sewers ruining the pleasure of swimming. Boats are pulled ashore with pulleys, as you can see. In the back the pier, where quite some promenading takes place. A bit behind it are the remains of the old pier, that now provide a resting place for lots of gulls and cormorants. as the connection to the mainland has collapsed they are certain to remain undisturbed.
