One of the few "old" (say 1900, maybe a bit earlier) houses, I was informed this one hosts the Samsun branch of the trade union of road workers. There is also another building that resembles this one just 20 meters ahead and that is the bank.

Dear Dick, I live in Ankara, the capital of Turkey but my home town is Samsun. Thanks a lot for visiting Samsun and taking such beautiful fhotos and sharing them with us. I would like to make a clarification about this photo (35667009). This old building hosts the Samsun branch of the trade union of road workers. The building is not a bank it is a union building.
