The Gök Medrese (Blue seminary from 1277) with its impressive entrance now functions as a museum. Most of these pictures are from slides.
On the picture: some 13th century Seljuk glazed tiles in the ‘avlu’ (= atrium) of the medrese.
Their blue colour gave the building its name: Gök Medrese (gök = ‘Sky’ or ‘blue like the sky’).
