Without comment I present a series of views over the excavation area. Since the city is (almost, there used to be a bridge) connected to another island two harbours were created. One of the two harbours ships of war, the other merchant shipping. The city had the usual buildings, a theatre et cetera. The Aphrodite temple was famous for its Praxitiles statue.

If I remember correctly this was a mosaic in a church.
