In this series of the entrance doors to the Mahmudbey Mosque in Kasaba village you can see some age old motifs that you can see on many other objects, be they in wood, in metal or other materials. In museums one will see many centuries old window shutters, doors, the flights of stairs found in mosques (minber). Only rarely are they still in place. As matter of fact, this is replica of the original, that is kept in the Ethnographic Museum in Kastamonu, the nearest major city.
