The palace complex dates from 1685-1784. It's a good hours walk from town, in the middle of (almost) nowhere: there is a very small settlement nearby, and a place to get drinks. In season busses will trawl in tourists who will visit the complex for half an hour or so, then silence settles down again. From the complex you can go up several ways into the mountains, for instance following a rich that looks down on the complex, or up te hill in the back of it. Wherever you go: silence and the most magnificent views. I will be adding more pictures as I progress scanning them.
