Türbanlı would be "with a headscarf", the other word means "open", so "without". For what competitive purpose this photographer displays the two pictures remained unclear, maybe it's a political statement.
well, acutally this photographer says that he can either take scarfed photos or photos that the hair is "added" via photoshop. as their numebrs gewtting low, Konya is one of the most religious cities in Turkey and there are many people who use this mehtod in applying for govermental jobs (where scarfes are NOT allowed in applciation). Where do I know it? I live in Konya,Turkey..
I am aware of the rules (as well as the whole discussion on the subject, in Turkey, France, my own country). As for Photoshop: I would not trust a system where legal documents had pictures with women who had their picture taken with a scarf on, and then had the hair added by Photoshop. I am aware of some of the tricks that program can do, and I would only accept pictures that had not been tampered with.
I would consider it possible the picture to the left was an edited version of the one to the right, not vice versa.
