I ran into this crowd one year earlier, but then I had no camera, but a pair of field glasses. They enjoyed that immensely. The next year I found I was still remembered for it. Not much happens in these rural areas. This time I had a digital camera, so I could show pictures straight away, and they were thankfull for that. Wonder what they'll think of my oversized Nikon next time around.
