One of a series of pictures from the Iron Age.
Babylonian Palace
During the New Babylonian period an administrative palace was constructed in a settlement (the name of which I do not have). A large gravel courtyard in the middle of the structure was surrounded by buildings, some of which were for storage. This structure is the only Neo Babylonian palace to be unearthed in Turkey.
