What to me seemed to be the main shopping street, Izzet Baysal Caddesi, is a wide street running from a square (Kardelen Square) in the west, towards what I have called "Main square" in the east. One passes some monuments along the way, like the Kadı Mosque and the Orta Hamam.
As a Dutchman, used to bicycles, I was pleased to see a blue ribbon indicated a part of the pavement, reserved for cycling. In effect it was also full of boys on skateboards, the occasional mobility scooter, or pedestrians who ignored the colour code. It worked decently well.
