One of pieces of Miletus Ware, vessels of red clay, produced in Iznik at the end of the 14th, beginning of the 15th century. Simple designs (radial lines, geometric design, vegetal motifs, animal figures) in dark blue, turquoise, purple and cobalt blue on a white slip have been used to achieve a basic decoration. Erroneously known as Miletus ware, until excavations revealed them to have been produced in Iznik on a large scale.
