I got the name from the notice on this almost drowned bridge. On the web I found, translated: "Saray/Kanuni Bridge was built by Mimar Sinan between the years H:961-M:1553-1554, by Suleiman the Magnificent.
Located over the Tunca River in Edirne Sarayiçi, this bridge emerges as a mass filled up to the middle piers cornice level. Bridge eyes of equal size are located on the right and left of the midfoot. There are no discharge eyes on the feet. There are triangular prism-shaped floodlights on the second, third and fourth legs.
Two arches of the bridge were damaged in the flood of 1902 and were repaired. The last repair was made in 1990. Among the public, the bridge is also called the Palace Bridge."
