There is an area (roughly south of the Kayseri Lisesi) where I have walked during previous visits with lots of derelict houses and great devastation. I suppose most buildings that remain will be torn down, to make room for appartment blocks and maybe another shopping mall. In it there are a few old buildings and fountains, most look as if they've seen a lot of restoration before.
This is the Mosque of Hasinli, built in 1714 by Seyyid Hacı Derviş Muhammed, and restored in 1786 by Ak Hatun, member of the same family.
