Vespasianus’ Baths
The bath was built at the behest of Gnaius Auidius during the reign of Vespasian. Frigidarium, tepidarium and caldarium are intact. Their size indicates the baths had a monumental size. An inscription refers to it as “the Large Beth”.
Intact is a relative term, though I have visited many a bath I could not see which room was what.
