The fountain in its front was built for Damat Ibrahim Paşa, the last vizier of Sultan Ahmet III. Someone wrote “Barış” (Peace) on it. It is well known that peace is triggered by spraying the word on monuments and we must be grateful for the peacemaker who did it. The blue chaotic sign on another picture is dubious, it looks a bit war-like.
