I am from Amsterdam where in the sixties "white bicycles" were promoted: public bikes for rent, to be provided in the streets from special "stations". For all I know it failed in Amsterdam, but in many cities a similar system works (London, I heard, works fine). Antalya seems to be giving it a try.
