Here we see the hisar-rock of Ortahisar (hisar is "fortress"). For the pictures I took after this part of my walk see the Ortahisar gallery (they will be there from 13-12-2014).

I climbed into Ortahisar, but it is possible to remain on this trail. You will have to pass a (decent) tunnel under a rock connecting Ortahisar to fields to its south, then just continue till the Ürgüp-Mustafapasha road. Or veer to the north at some point and follow other trails to Ürgüp. To the right you may see an arrow indicating you're close to Pancarlik church, and go there. That stretch will be a bit more difficult, bring sensible shoes.
