In 2014 I took many pictures of the restored arches and columns of the building through which one enters the courtyard of the mosque. Roman building elements were mixed with Islamic writing, the result is most impressive.

Some are crowned by ornate Corinthian capitals, others by simpler ones (though still Corinthian in my opinion). The second column from the left is even simpler.
