This is the Üç Mihraplı Cami. It was built in 1469 by Hoca Hayrettin Efendi who was a tutor of Fatih Sultan Mehmet with one mihrab (the niche indicating the direction of Mekka), but later the sultan extended it, and another mihrab was added. Later again the Hoca’s daughter in law gave her house to be added to the mosque, and a third mihrab was added. There is only one other of this kind in Şişhane, the Üç Mihraplı Bedrettin mosque.
