Caique belonging to the reign of Sultan Abdülaziz (1861-1876), 3 pairs of oars.
This caique is built with mahogany carvel planking and she has a spoon formed bow. There is a horn inlaid with gold leaf on the bow. Pomegranate, apple, pineapple, plum, pear and hash with vine leaf come out from the horn covered with leaves. A black edging whose sidelines are decorated with gold leaf passes trhough the outer skide of the boat. The poop deck’s ground is paved with latticework. The inside is decorated with red, yellow, blue and green hand-drawn tulip, stylized poplar trees and flag. When Sultan Abdülaziz was dethroned, he was taken to Topkapı in this caique. Length 9,15 m., Width 1,60 m. Height 0,67 m.
