It might be argued this should be in the assent subgallery, as it shows a gate one has to pass on the way up. But the picture is taken from higher up, within the defenses of the east wall. I think the gate will be what the Wikipedia refers to as "the Armenian-constructed main entrance". On the map the latter is D, on a picture it's named "postern gate".
