A group in the apsis. On a dedicated website one can read "The recently whitewashed frescoes in the apse", as part of the scene was whitewashed as a simple way of "erasing" the graffiti. I wonder if the remaining figures are those of apostles.
I have the feeling the delighted graffity-vandals were pleased with this nice extra space to put their names, declaratrions of love for someone, or for their favorite football club on. The whitewashing was in the late '90's, this was taken in 2012. Increasingly one now finds fresco's behind perspex, and picture taking is much more complicated if not impossible.
