The northwestern corner of the Seyitgazi Complex is occupied by the ‘Müderris Odaları’ (= Rooms of the Teacher), where the head of the Bektaşi convent lived. These rooms, which are adjacent to the Kırklar Meydanı (Gathering of the Forty Witnesses), lie in one line and form a two-room apartment, with an entrance opening onto the lower courtyard. The first room (3,3 x 3,3m) is somewhat smaller than the second (3,3 x 4,8 m). Both rooms have a hearth and a chimney, and niches that were used as cupboards.
