Here Helios rides a quadriga (four horse chariot) while he attacks the giants. Thetys and Oceanos take part
in the struggle. In front of horses we see the god Eos.

Helios was the personification of the sun. Gaia personified the earth.

The identification of the god Helios is correct. It is not Gaia and Kestros, but Thetys and Oceanos. The little character is not an Eros, but the god Eos.

De kleine Eros leidt de wagen van de zonnegod Helios die zelf een zweep hanteerde; voor het gespan zweeft zijn zuster Eos, de dageraad. Rechts probeert een eerste gigant tevergeefs de paarden tegen te houden terwijl onderin een tweede gigant ondersteboven wordt gereden en verdrinkt in de golven van Kestros, de god van de gelijknamige rivier die van Perge een zeehaven maakte.
