North-west of the theatre stands what remains of a temple to Dionysus. On a raised platform with six steps leading to the pronaos it was a pseudoperipteros, that is: columns integrated into the wall of the cella rather than freestanding ones surrounding it, a rare type in Asia Minor. Decorations stemmed from the first century under Augustus. When the theatre was enlarged the southwest part was covered by theatre structures. Later the temple was used for other purposes.
