Temple of Athena. The temple in this version was erected in the 2nd century and had 6 x 11 columns. Athena was protectress of the city and patron of its sea trade. Emperor Caracalla presented it with a golden bust of himself. Unlike the Apollo temple no reconstruction is in evidence, yet lots of elements lie about.
