In 2010-2011 the thoroughfare that takes traffic through the city and on to the river has been partly tunnelled. I suppose this is a blessing for the city and the drivers also. Here is a shot looking west.
There used to be a pedestrian bridge shortly before the fly over you see in the distance, which has now disappeared.
