The Ottoman ‘Arastalı Bedesten’ (a covered market) on Sulusokak/Sulu street. The exact building date is not known. Local sources suggest the 15th or 16th century. It has been restored in 2007-2009.
The central Bedesten (market hall) is square and covered with nine little domes. On both sides it is flanked by a Arasta (shopping street) that is covered by a vault.
On the picture: the entrance of the ‘Bedesten’ (in the front of the picture) and the entrance of the left Arasta.
The adjacent mosque is the Takyeciler Camii, (probably) 15th century.
