The Halifet Gazi Türbesi is one of the oldest Seljuk mausolea in Amasya. It was built in 1226, adjacent to a medrese from 1209. The madrasa disappeared, the tomb is still standing. It was restored in the 1970s, and is now one of Amasya’s finest Seljuk monuments.
