The mosque being in restoration I just toured some of the buildings belonging to the larger complex, here are some shots, mainly of the southern and western side. A view down the Ayşe Kadın Hamamı Sokak.
This alley leads between the two upper medrese (colleges) to the piazza that stretches before the mosque precinct. On the left and right are two stone residences for the directors, which are the only houses still standing that can be attributed to Mimar Sinan. They still make agreeable residences.
