Across the street from the main body of the Atik Valide Mosque there is this building that houses the Üsküdar setting of an organisation that seems to have to do with the study of the Quran. It dates from 1570 when a similar function was started here under Sultan Murat III's mother Nurbanu Valide. The building is by Sinan.
