Bayezid II Bridge

From the web I quote, translated: Bayezid II Bridge is a bridge connecting the city center to the Yeniimaret District and was built by II. Bayezid in H: 890-M: 1484–H: 893-M: 1488. It is located next to the Sultan II. Bayezid Complex. The bridge is also called the İmaret Bridge. This bridge, which is one of the 9 masonry bridges over the Tunca River, does not have an inscription. It is said that its architect was Mimar Hayrettin. The bridge is made of cut stone and is 78 meters long and 6 meters wide. The arch span is 10 meters. It has 6 large pointed arched “eyes” and two drainage “eyes” on the sides. The land between Yalnızgöz Bridge and the area between it became impassable due to floods and in 1611 the ground was raised and a third passage with three arches was added to ensure the flow of water. In the 18th century, some of the middle arches were destroyed and later repaired. (Edirne Travel Guide, 2013, p.61) The bridge has been recently repaired.
