The pictures here are all from Elaiussa Sebaste which nowadays is called Ayaş. The University of Rome has been digging here and you can see a theatre, a former church, a Byzantine palace and a lot more. I use sub-galleries to show some of these.
I walked from Kızkalesi to Ayaş through the hinterland, where there are a lot of mainly 6th century churches and a large graveyard.
In 2019 I found that in the English Wikipedia the town of Yumurtalık, of wehich I also have pictures, is supposedly old Ayas (without an ş). So problems may arise.
