I always loved to walk up into the mountains in the south of Amasya. When I first came here there were poor villages on what feels like a plain, where at that time I saw semi-wild horses being herded. In 2011 I took a cab up on two occasions, finding the village much improved and the fields seemed to grow good grain now.

I rearrange pictures much later (2025), mixing the two walks and not sticking to chronology.
