It is claimed the prophet Abraham was born in a cave in Urfa, and here are some pictures of the cave and the complex at that site. The cave itself is known as Ibrahimín Doğum Mağarısı, the large complex to its' west Hazreti Ibrahim Halilullah Dergahı. Abraham was supposed to have been born here (the Bible calls Ur his birthplace, though) and to live in a cave for ten years, hiding from the brutal king Nimrod, who had ordered to kill all newborn children, for (Wikipedia:) "A portent in the stars tells Nimrod and his astrologers of the impending birth of Abraham, who would put an end to idolatry."
