Also known as Ya Vedud Tomb. The tomb was moved from the Yâ-Vedûd Mosque graveyard to its current location during the construction of the ring road O-1 and bridge across the Golden Horn in the 1970s. Sheikh Abdülvedûd Efendi (Yavedûd Sultan) hailed from Bukhara or Damascus and participated in the siege of Istanbul, he was a devout supporter of Sultan Mehmed II.
