These wonderful and under-appreciated animals exude a sense of peace. They happily munch on plants and, if you are lucky, tolerate close observation. To find a den with six babies, was a real treasure. The little ones climbed over the mother's back, peered into her ears, licked her mouth and scampered around the den tripping over roots and scurrying when startled. They were a delight to watch.
