Tokyo Station (the modern facade on the Yaesu side) - we left Tokyo from this station to go to Odawara

At Odawara we took a bus to the Lake Ashi/Hokane area.
Tokyo Station is the busiest train station in Japan with 3,000 trains per day connecting to other areas in Tokyo, and to other cities and surrounding areas. Currently the station is being extensively renovated including connections between the station and nearby office towers.
The trains in Japan leave and arrive precisely on time. Our train was spotless just like the streets of Tokyo.
Another earlier photo shows the traditional red brick facade on the Marunouchi side of Tokyo Station.
