I created the original "Yellow Rose" nose art on a paper napkin back 1981 for the original group of veterans who restored the B-25 at CAF Headquarters Harlingen, Texas. At some point in the late 1980's the B-25 underwent a paint restoration and another artist traced the body but changed her face. In 1993 I was again asked by the Yellow Rose Squadron who were now located at Stinson Field in San Antonio, Texas, in creating some theme clothes wear in order to cover up her nude body. Recently the B-25 just underwent another paint restoration and again I have been asked to perform a complete reconstruction of the nose art. Fernando Cortez
