i have a many images of it now in my gallery... barns... and 50 favorites...and here in my pad gallery... and maybe one of my two FAVORITE images for reasons i dont quite understand yet is this quiet grey barn with sweet white trim... with a CAT trimmed out in the same colors walking by.... I have placed that image in my third gallery today right next to this gallery... its the top image

i love the little objects in some photographs... sometimes found after shooting... i call them artifacts or little gifts

ps my other favorite shot... if the first shot today in my first gallery... all pink and white and quiet... peaceful... of the lake fog i also find myself returning to over these years here in maine

there may be a day or few short weeks left till that large lake freezes and the sea smoke and magic sleep till spring

merry christmas and happy hannukkaahhhh to all... ps my son Rob... leaves to teach as a volunteer for Micrnesia in the pacific early next week! and has a little digital elf to capture some of his experiences in this remote part of the world

ps i am not sure this shot is perfectly focus... what do you think or if just has the rush of snow blurring the focus??? i should have increased the asa which is so badly sentive in the nikon nonslr 8800 as i see i took this at a 40th/sec at 10x hand held... go figure... just glad i was present to take this shot at all
