ddarkness comes before the light....seen from my window at monhegan island

where Wyeth, rockwell kent... and contemporary aritsts... alison hill & Ted now paint...

alison may be my pad tomorrow...

and i may just put up my monhegan images in one gallery and not bothering to pad them...

yesterday betty and i went to the last day at the portland art museums show

of ROCKWELL KENT s paintings... he painted this same scene and one of the monhegan harbor and by chance

my camera had a flast card in it with the same scenes i took in the lst month or so on two visits to monhegan

ps this shot is of mannnannna island, close at hand to monhegan... there is a faint cog ralway an artist??? used to carry up supplies...

do you know monhegan... wyeth... kent... what artists do you like... the museum allows photogprahphing their renoir... and i did!!!
