I saw your work on Don Verger’s ‘Quilt for Peace’ site. He suggested that I contact you for permission to project you ‘Frimpong The Bear ... THE WORLD :)"> 02-OCT-2004’ image (bear with flags behind) as part of our Peace Concert. (It would not be printed.) You, of course would be given credit in the printed program. My email address is j4griffin@comcast.net

Our concert will be June 4 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Anacortes, with our whole small community invited. It focuses on peace among peoples, relationships, communities, and the world. The music will be sung by a mens’ ensemble, womens’ ensemble, youth choir, contemporary music team, and traditional choir. We are avoiding any political connotations. There is no admission fee. You may learn more about Westminster Presbyterian Church in Anacortes at our Web site …http://www.fidalgo.net/~wpc/

The songs are:
“Come, Peace of God” by Eugene Butler and Mary Rowland
“Prayer of the Children” by Kurt Bestor and Andrea S. Klouse
“Prayer for Peace” by Mary Lynn Lightfoot and David Sarandon
“Amani Utupe” (Grant us Peace, Give us Courage), by Patsy Ford Simms
“Hold Me Jesus” by Rich Mullins
“Make Me A Channel of Your Peace” by Sebastian Temple, Mark Hayes, and Francis of Assisi
“Children of Peace” (Suluhisha, Suluhiana), Mark Brymer
“Inscription of Hope” by Z Randal Stroope, quoting a Russian folk tune and cellar walls in Cologne, Germany
“Peace Song” (with ‘We Shall Overcome’) by Greg Gilpin and Christie Smith Stephens
“Put Peace Into Each Other’s Hands” by Fred Kaan
“Peace in Twelve Languages” by Thomas Knight and Craig Palmer
“Let There Be Peace On Earth” by Sy Miller and Jill Jackson, arranged by Joel Raney
