once was a thread in a scarf i knit, now is the cord for the fan in my bedroom...i shot some old old beech leafs today that have the same feel as this "yarn" and will use one tomorrow for my pad

How great that you noticed this. The broad expanse of background and the cord hanging off to the side makes for a dynamic composition. Very enjoyable.
